  • 67 cups of isopropyl alcohol
  • 33 cups of emollient
  • Essential aroma

Alcohol is an essential ingredient of the sanitizer that eradicates the germs. Sanitizers contain almost 60 to 95% of the alcohol that kills the germs. It is most effective on clean hands and proves to be less effective on dirty and greasy hands. Homemade sanitizers also have the strength to remove the germs if they contain the right amount of alcohol. The emollient in the sanitizers can be either glycerin or aloe Vera and keep the skin wet and prevent the sanitizer from being dried out. The essential oils give the aroma to your hands.
