Moon landing is one of the most snooping subjects and the interesting fact is so far 12 men have landed on Moon surface. These astronauts have taken in their mission from 1969 to 1972 where the last three missions had a rover for increased mobility.     1. Neil Alden Armstrong

    For the first time a man who landed and walks on the moon surface was Neil Alden Armstrong in 1969. He remains there in space for 8days, 14 hours, 12 minutes and 30 seconds. He will always be known as the first person from planet Earth to walk on the neighboring planet Moon. Armstrong later said that the pilot don’t like walking, they like flying. Generally pilots conceits in good landing but not in getting out of their vehicle. Neil Alden Armstrong was an American aeronautical engineer, naval aviator, test pilot and a university professor.

    2. Edwin BUZZ Aldrin

    On Apollo 11mission Edwin Buzz Aldrin went as Lunar Module Pilot. Edwin Buzz Aldrin and mission commander Neil Alden Armstrong was first two human who landed on moon. He stayed on moon for 12 days, 1 hour and 53 minutes.

    3. Charles PETE Conrad

    He landed on moon in 1969 during Apollo 12 mission. He was the third person to walk on moon surface. In his first spaceflight he set an eight day endurance record with his Command pilot Gordon Cooper. Charles Pete Conrad was selected in NASA’s second astronaut class who was assigned to command the backup crew for first Earth orbital test flight of the complete Apollo spacecraft in December 1966. It also includes the Lunar Module in to low Earth orbit.

    4. Alan L. Bean

    Alan L. Bean was the fourth one to land on moon in November 1969 at the age of 37. He was selected by NASA to be a part of Astronaut Group 3in 1963. Alan first flight to space was made in Apollo 12 that was the second manned mission to land on Moon. While his second and the last space flight was in 1973 on the Skylab 3 mission. 

    5. Alan Shepard

    Alan Shepard walks on the Moon surface in 1971 in Apollo 14 mission. He was actually the first American who travel into space in 1961 but at that time he did not landed on Moon surface so technically he is the fifth astronaut to walk on moon.
