3. Whole Grains

Obesity is a very potent factor that risked the human body towards cardiac issues. But that can be prevented by consumption of whole grain flour instead of consuming white flour that is completely starch. Research proves that this whole grain flour is composed of starch plus antioxidants, phytosterols and phytoestrogens that play important role in reducing the incidence of coronary diseases which are amongst the most prominent causes of death throughout the world. The wheat flour basically carries a lot of fibre in it that helps in digestion and also reduces the risking factors towards cardiovascular disease. When compared people who consumed whole wheat flour were 40% less risked at getting into some coronary issue as compare to the white flour consumers.

Today, the scientists aim to include as much soluble fibre as much they can because this helps in maintenance of the LDL levels in the blood whose increase can lead to atheroma formation in the blood vessels causing the passage to block which ultimately leads to cardiac failures. Since the bile salts are necessary in the digestion of the fats hence the body will breakdown the cholesterol (a necessary component in coronary issues) to produce the required bile salts.

However, the good thing about eating beans is that you don’t need to eat a lot of quantity of beans every day. Researchers suggest that half a bowl of cooked pinto beans are enough to maintain an appropriate blood cholesterol level. Basically, what happens is that these soluble fibres promote the binding of the cholesterol and retains it within our digestive tract. After fermentation of these fibres these are transformed into short chained fatty acids that interfere in the formation of the cholesterol. Along with these fibres these pinto beans contain other element that are too important in the lowering the effect of cholesterol in body.
