3. Old-Fashioned Apple Pie

Tired of buying apple pies from stores? I can bet you that after you try this recipe, you will definitely stop buying them from the stores and will start making it at home. Plus it tastes way better than store-bought apple pie.
Ingredients:
Refrigerated pie crusts: 1 package
Sugar: 1 cup
Corn starch: 3 tbsp.
Cinnamon powder: ¾ tsp.
Nutmeg powder: ¼ tsp.
Salt: a pinch
Apples: 3 lbs. peeled, cored and sliced.

Instructions:
Unroll one pie crust and place it in 9 inch pie plate before start preparing for the pie. Also preheat the oven.
In a bowl, add corn starch, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg along with sugar and add apples and mix well. Toss the apples at apple pie and unroll the remaining pie crust and place over the filling and fold the edges. Cut slits in top to let the steam escape.

Place the tray in oven and bake for about 40-50 minutes until the crust turns golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool before serving.
