Many different kinds of mushrooms help in fighting against cancer. There examples are Lion’s mane, Chaga, Cordyceps, Reishi, Maitake, Shiitake. All of these are known to anti-tumour and anti-inflammatory in their modes of actions once ingested. Some of them are also involved in the protection of the host cell DNA from damage such as Shiitake. They can even neutralize the effects of radiation on the body. They improve the efficiency of cancer fighting natural killer cells and T cells.
13. Egg plant
An antioxidant that is chlorogenic acid is found in the eggplants. This is the best antioxidant that is known for preventing the free radical destruction and also reduces the chance of developing cancer. They also contain bioflavonoids which also account for the same purpose that is protecting the cells of the body from damage from free radicals. They also mitigate the oxidative stress on the cells of the body which is basic reason why cancer develops in a body.
14. Different oils
Certain fats that are cold pressed are also known to highly alkaline in nature. That is why they can be potential choices in an alkaline diet suitable for preventing tumor development in the body. Such is the example of Olive oil, Marine lipids, Borage oil, Flax seed oil, and Evening Primrose oil. Hence including them in food and substituting the highly toxic synthetic oils can prevent us from developing a tumor in our body. It is no doubt true that prevention is better than cure always.
