Corn is hard to digest in the body as it contains the carbohydrate in it that the body is unable to break down and thus leading to complications. This will eventually cause the fermentation of the gastrointestinal bacteria and trapping of gas in the stomach which ultimately leads towards blotting and pain. Also, the corn also contains a protective outer coating and our bodies lack the enzyme that causes the breakdown of that coating thus making the corn indigestible.
3) Cruciferous vegetables
The cruciferous vegetables include broccoli, kale, cabbage and cauliflower. They are a rich source of vitamin C and fiber. The fiber is indigestible by the body thus staying in the stomach for very long and producing gas. Also, these vegetables are a rich source of raffinose that is a complex sugar and human body lacks such enzymes that cause the breaking down of such sugars. When these vegetables move down the body in the intestine, the bacteria ferment these vegetables and produce hydrogen, methane and carbon dioxide thus leading towards gas.
